What To Know Before Getting a Dog-As New Dog Owner This Are The Things You Need To Consider












 They say dog has a capability to make you smile and fill up a space in your life .now a days more and more are people is taking care of a dog they even take care them as baby .i am also a dog lover and owner as a first time dog owner I will give some tips on what you need to know before getting a dog.this will help you have a fun and enjoy the life with your baby dog















What you need to know before getting a dog 


1.) Research the Dog breed 


Get to know the breed you are interested in and be open to changing your mind if it doesn’t fit your ability to provide for its temperament. Ask lots of questions from the people adopting the animal out, maybe even find a breed specific group to ask questions of some of the members.Different dog has specific need and traits.some dog is very energetic they need to run or do some exercise to be tamed.some dog is like Toy that you can leave them at your sofa and just sleep my baby dog is like that he just sleep and want to be cuddled.   





  











2.) Make Sure your home is  Pet Friendly  







 It is highly important to go through your home now, before you bring a new pet home, to search out hazards and get them out of the way or out of the house. This includes cabinets at pet level, counter tops, bottles of chemical on the floor, small toys, electric cords and curtain cords. And it doesn’t stop there. You will also need to check your home and yard for toxic plants for dogs , and if you carry a purse or bag, you will need to find and discard 
 any potential dangers – like sugar-free gum, which often contains xylitol




Be wary of lawn and gardening products as well. Insecticides and mulch can be harmful to your pup. 

There's a long list of plants that could be potentially toxic to your pet, including tulips, lillies, and chrysanthemums, so make sure you refer to this list when puppy-proofing 

your home!.   Other hazardous household items include fabric softener sheets, antifreeze, and mothballs.


You also need to consider your space make it a place for you and your baby dog 








3.) Proper vaccination and medication for dog 


as a dog owner you need to make sure the dog has proper vaccinations like for rabies ,parvovirus,heart worm and many others 










4.) Necessary Items for Dogs:

  • Food and water bowls.
  • Food (canned and/or dry)
  • Collar.
  • Four to six-foot leash.
  • ID tag with your phone number.
  • Hard plastic carrier or foldable metal crate.
  • Dog bed.
  • Doggy shampoo and conditioner.
  • Dog clothes 
  • Dog shoes 
  • Dog toothbrush and toothpaste   


5.) Be Responsible Dog owner



You need to have time for your dog make them part of your life as a reponsible dog owner you have to train and teach then .Dogs love to learn new tricks and training your new best friend will give you a reliable platform of communication. Consider signing up for training sessions, so a dog trainer can help guide you through the steps of making your pup an obedience PRO.If it’s a puppy you’ll be adopting into your home, be prepared for crying. Yes, just as with human babies, baby dogs cry during the night in their first days in their new home. But unlike human babies,
